Erin's Story

With formal training and certification in conflict resolution, Erin assists separated or divorced parents in reducing litigation by facilitating communication, resolving disputes, and supporting adherence to court-ordered parenting agreements. Her approach emphasizes the best interests of the child, equipping parents with tools to manage conflict constructively and establish healthy, respectful boundaries.

Erin’s work is grounded in both practical experience and academic understanding of family systems. She has supported numerous families through transitions such as custody modifications and post-decree conflict, always prioritizing the child’s emotional and psychological well-being. Her role often serves as a critical extension of the court’s efforts to foster compliance, reduce parental discord, and promote cooperative parenting.

Beyond her professional work, Erin is the founder and coach of the Cherokee Crazy Kayakers, Cherokee County’s Special Olympics kayak team—a testament to her dedication to inclusion and community engagement. She is also a parent of three and a grandparent of four, bringing a deep personal understanding of family dynamics to her professional practice.

A firm believer in the importance of adaptability, Erin often shares her favorite guiding principle with clients:

"You can’t control the wind, but you can adjust your sails."

This philosophy reflects her mission in parenting coordination—helping parents navigate uncertainty and conflict with resilience, flexibility, and a focus on what matters most: their children’s well-being.
