Monica Ahearn helps parents move from high-conflict standoffs to child-centered solutions. With over 30 years of experience as a parent coordinator, CASA, school leader, advocate, and mediator, Monica specializes in helping families navigate the complexities of co-parenting, with a particular expertise in supporting children with diverse learning needs.

Monica invests in her families. She understands that a child’s success depends on the stability of their home life and the clarity of their educational path. She bridges the gap between the parenting plan, the children’s educational and developmental needs, and high-conflict family dynamics.

  • Decision-Making Support: Acting as a neutral third party to break deadlocks on education, medical, and extracurricular choices.

Monica’s professional journey has always been about protecting the best interests of the student and the family. Her background provides her with a perspective few in the field possess:

  • Educational Leadership: Monica has served as a Director of Special Services and School Principal, giving her "behind-the-scenes" knowledge of how school districts operate and how to best advocate for a child's needs.

  • Legal & Clinical Foundation: She has worked alongside family law firms as an Educational Expert and Family Advocate, ensuring that legal outcomes translate into practical, daily successes for children.

  • Advanced Mediation Training: Monica is formally trained in 40-Hour Family Mediation and Parent Coordination, allowing her to facilitate difficult conversations with empathy and firm boundaries.
