COMMITTED TO FAMILIES

Coach McCurdy has a passion for families in transition. Inspired by her pastor, Andy Stanley of North Point Community Church, she began volunteering at the Foster Care Support Foundation, a state-wide nonprofit committed to helping foster children find a kind and nurturing experience while in foster care. Her business background and commitment to the organization led her to a board position and then to the role of Director of Development and CFO for the organization.

Following her tenure at the Foundation, Erica left to continue serving families as a staff member in the Care Department at North Point Community Church where her she led and continues to lead Oasis Divorced and Separated Groups.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS

Believing that her gifts were best used in the outside community coaching others through transition, Coach McCurdy began her private practice where she quickly earned her ICF Credential as well as several specialty coaching certifications including the unique niche credential of Youth, Parent, and Family Coach. She teaches the ICF Core Competencies as well as mentors aspiring coaches who are seeking to attain their credential through the ICF and is a multi-year member of the Forbes Coaches Council.

Erica received her Parenting Coordination training through the Cooperative Parenting Institute. This training allows her to integrate her coaching, business, mediation, and family skills to help minimize conflict and shield children in the midst of a challenging parental dynamic.

Coach McCurdy has her own divorce story and co-parenting story. She understands the difficulties inherent in communicating during times of extreme emotional stress and uses her coaching and business management expertise to lay a positive set of steps for her clients to move forward, set goals, and think about the future.

EXCELLENCE IS A PRIORITY

Throughout the years, Coach McCurdy has earned a reputation for being one of the best coaches in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. The interests and confidentiality of her clients are always one of her top priorities, and she consistently goes above and beyond to make sure they get the results they need.

Coach McCurdy integrates the best coaching, goal-setting, and accountability practices to help her clients better understand how to think about their situation, their words, and their actions. Together they build new habits, co-create effective action plans, make strong decisions, and take great next steps. She is known for being quick, direct, and sometimes a little untraditional.
